  • Unwanted, ongoing and disturbing thoughts or memories

  • Feeling suspicious, paranoid or jumpy

  • Feeling numb or not expressing any emotion

  • Loss of interest or pleasure in ordinary activities, including sex

  • Difficulty perceiving reality

  • Pounding or racing heart, shortness of breath

  • Thoughts of death or suicide; self-injury or suicide attempts

  • Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, or helplessness

  • “Racing” thoughts that run through the brain quickly and feel overwhelming

  • Difficulty concentrating, easily distracted

  • Withdrawing from social situations or relationships, isolating oneself

  • Difficulty planning or carrying out activities of daily life
