- Unwanted, ongoing and disturbing thoughts or memories 
- Feeling suspicious, paranoid or jumpy 
- Feeling numb or not expressing any emotion 
- Loss of interest or pleasure in ordinary activities, including sex 
- Difficulty perceiving reality 
- Pounding or racing heart, shortness of breath 
- Thoughts of death or suicide; self-injury or suicide attempts 
- Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, or helplessness 
- “Racing” thoughts that run through the brain quickly and feel overwhelming 
- Difficulty concentrating, easily distracted 
- Withdrawing from social situations or relationships, isolating oneself 
- Difficulty planning or carrying out activities of daily life
